About Lisa
Lisa Barounis is a licensed esthetician and has worked in spas and salons since 1999. In upscale day spas in Chicago, Phoenix, and Honolulu, Lisa has performed thousands of waxes on every skin type. Her style is fast and efficient, with pain minimizing techniques inspired by studies done by Dan Ariely at MIT.  She has a music degree from the University of Hawaii, and a license in massage therapy. When she’s not waxing, she’s most likely to be found salsa dancing or sitting on her meditation cushion.
